Description
NON-RETURNABLE – 1/4″ – 1″ White sewing elastic for medical masks or clothing. Each width may vary in weave and softness. Used in medical mask making and medical gown making. All sizes (excluding 3/16″ Bulk) of the elastic is available in
HANKS ONLY – Each width may be slightly different in weave or softness.
Uses: Face masks and or Medical gowns. Sewing projects, decorating, craft projects, bows for any occasion and gift wrapping.
Outdoor Use Suggestions: We recommend using wired ribbon outdoors. It holds it’s shape better and lasts longer than un-wired. Regular ribbon can be used outdoors, but use smaller loops and more of them to make your bow look fuller. To make your ribbons last longer place your decorations under some protection and out of direct sunlight. Any ribbon will fade in time, so make sure you do what you can to help it last longer.

I just wanted to note that this elastic is perfect for making face masks. Its not as rigid as the typical elastic I buy. Its softer and has more “give” which makes it more forgiving for sensitive ears that need to hold up those masks all day.

I was hesitant to place an order at first but I went ahead anyway after researching the company. I am so so glad I placed my original order several weeks ago. I ordered on a Sunday and my order of 2 hanks of 1/4 inch elastic arrived very quickly on Thursday. Well, I’ve gone through all of it making face masks. I just placed another order for another 2 hanks. The product is very soft so people wearing my masks will be comfortable. The price is fantastic. I want to thank American Ribbon Co. for not jacking up the price of the elastic which is what is happening around here where I live (outside of Pittsburgh).
